The wing nut is provided with each Ultra Sterasyl and Ultra Fluoride filter but needs to be replaced if it becomes damaged, no longer functions properly, or if it is lost.

It ensures tightening and thus, sealing between the filter positioned in the upper chamber with the black gasket, and the lower chamber.
