The acquisition of a product through this website implies an unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these terms and conditions of sale which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering. Before any transaction, the buyer declares on one hand that the purchase of products on british-filters.com is not directly related to his professional activity and is limited to a strictly personal use and on the other hand to have the full legal capacity, allowing him to commit himself under these general sales conditions. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, in order to comply with any new regulation or to improve the use of its website. Therefore, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date of the order by the buyer.
2- Products
The products offered are those listed on british-filters.com by the company Premium Water Distribution SAS, while stocks last. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify the product range at any time. Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics (capacity, use, composition, etc.). The photographs are as accurate as possible but are not binding on the seller. The sale of products presented on the british-filters.com website is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully authorise the entry of these products into their territory.
3- Prices
For countries in the Euro zone, the prices shown on the product sheets in the internet catalogue are prices in Euros (€) including all taxes (TTC). For other countries, the mention TTC does not include the VAT in force in the country of delivery. As a result, any taxes due at the time of customs clearance are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The buyer must be aware of the tax rules in force in the country of delivery. Premium Water Distribution SAS is subject to VAT, which means that VAT can be reclaimed by professional buyers. Any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in the price of the products. Premium Water Distribution SAS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood that the price indicated in the catalogue on the day of the order will be the only price applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated do not include any additional delivery charges.
4- Ordering and payment terms
Prior to any order, the buyer must create an account on british-filters.com. The account creation section is accessible directly from the menu bar at the top of the pages. At each visit, the buyer, if he wishes to order or consult his account (order status, profile...), will have to identify himself using his information. Premium Water Distribution SAS offers the buyer to order and pay for its products in several stages, with 4 payment options to choose from:
- Payment by cheque (France only): the buyer selects the products he/she wishes to order in the "basket", modifies if necessary (quantities, references...), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. The shipping costs are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the purchaser chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment by cheque" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then invites them to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. This last click constitutes the final conclusion of the contract. Once the order has been validated, the buyer will receive a message confirming that the order has been registered. In order to finalize the payment and process the order, the buyer must send a cheque payable to "Premium Water Distribution SAS" to the address indicated on the order confirmation email, without forgetting to indicate the order reference. No cash payment should be sent. Only cheques issued by a French bank will be accepted. As soon as the cheque is received, the order will be processed and the buyer will be informed by e-mail. Premium Water Distribution SAS will ship the products at the earliest 2 working days after cashing the cheque corresponding to the order, subject to provisions.
- Payment by bank transfer: the buyer selects the products they wish to order in the "basket", modifies if necessary (quantities, references...), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Any delivery charges are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the purchaser chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment by bank transfer" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then invites them to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. This last click constitutes the final conclusion of the contract. Once the order has been validated, the buyer will receive a message confirming that the order has been registered. In order to finalize the payment and process the order, the buyer must contact his bank in order to transfer the amount of his order to Premium Water Distribution SAS' bank account, whose details will be communicated to the buyer by e-mail. As soon as the transfer is received, the order will be processed and the buyer will be informed by e-mail.
International transfers are not authorised. They incur charges which will be charged to the customer. Transfers must be made using the SEPA standard.
- Secure payment by bank card (interface integrated by PAYPAL): the buyer selects the products they wish to order in the "basket", modifies them if necessary (quantities, references, etc.), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Any delivery charges are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the buyer chooses the method of payment of their choice and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then they are invited to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. Finally, the buyer is invited to enter their personal bank card details in complete security. If payment is accepted, the order is recorded and the contract definitively formed. Payment by bank card is irrevocable. In the event of fraudulent use of the card, the purchaser may demand that the card payment be cancelled, and the sums paid will then be credited back or refunded on proof. The holder of a bank card is not liable if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, at a distance, without physical use of the card. To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that may have been incurred, the cardholder must dispute the debit in writing with his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or 120 days if provided for in the contract between the cardholder and the bank. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within one month of receipt of the cardholder's written objection. The holder may not be charged any fees for the return of the sums.

The shipping costs are then calculated and submitted to the buyer, along with the name of the carrier. Once the above elements have been validated, the buyer chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment with PAYPAL" and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then they are invited to pay for their order by clicking on the "Pay for my order" button. To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that may have been incurred, the cardholder must dispute the debit in writing with his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or 120 days if provided for in the contract with the bank. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within one month of receipt of the cardholder's written objection. The holder may not be charged any costs for the return of the sums
- Secure payment by PAYPAL account in 4 instalments (depending on country): the rules for accepting payment in 4 instalments are governed by Paypal and are not the responsibility of british-filters.com. The buyer must first choose the Paypal account payment option, and it is in the Paypal interface that he will be offered the possibility of a staggered payment.

7- Delivery
Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which can only be within the agreed geographical area. Deliveries are made by the service providers UPS, UPS access point, Mondial Relay, La Poste, Chronopost, GLS and DHL depending on the destination countries and the availability of the carrier in the buyer's delivery zone. All delivery services allow the buyer to track his/her parcel using a tracking number. Packages are delivered against a signature, except for tracked postal deliveries. For home deliveries, in case of absence of the buyer, the carrier will either make a new delivery or drop the parcel at the nearest relay point of its network. It is the buyer's responsibility to use the carrier's online tracking system to check the progress of their parcel to find out what arrangements the carrier has made in their absence.
- PARCEL DELIVERED TO ANOTHER RELAY POINT: it may happen that a relay point is changed during the course of delivery. The reasons for a change of relay point are an internal decision of the carrier and cannot call into question the correct application of the delivery service. The customer will be informed of the new delivery point and/or may also be asked to choose it by means of an instruction request received by e-mail. The buyer is obliged to collect their parcel before the end of the custody period.
- PARCEL NOT PICKED UP ON TIME AT A RELAY POINT: if the parcel is dropped off at a relay point, it will be held pending for 8 days. Every effort is made to enable the customer to track the delivery and availability of their parcel. Once this period has elapsed, the return to the warehouse of a parcel that has not been collected will incur costs to be borne by the purchaser.
The costs associated with not collecting the parcel will be applied in accordance with our returns policy, paragraph Withdrawal.
The purchaser is responsible for checking the contents of each parcel on arrival. In the event of damage or missing items, it is essential to:
1 - Write the SPECIFIED RESERVATIONS on the carrier's discharge document.
2 - CONFIRM THESE RESERVATIONS within 2 days to the carrier, by registered letter stating the reasons (article 105 of the French Commercial Code).
NO CLAIM will be possible, even with Premium Water Distribution SAS once the goods have been accepted.
