What are British Berkefeld® water filters made of?
Ultra Sterasyl and Ultra Fluoride filters are made from microporous ceramic and activated carbon. Their precise formulation is covered by an industrial patent.
Microporous ceramic: acts as a barrier against undesirable agents such as bacteria, cysts and particles too large to pass through it. It also contains silver, which prevents the proliferation of bacteria (bacteriostatic action).
Active carbon: Removes chlorine and organic contaminants (such as certain pesticides from chemical pollution) and improves the taste and smell of the water.
Difference between filters:
Ultra Sterasyl: Contains a specific media to filter out heavy metals.
Ultra Fluoride: Contains a different media designed to eliminate fluorides.
These filters offer an effective solution tailored to the specific needs of water filtration.
