Understand the useful volume of each model

The volume indicated for each model corresponds to that of the lower tank.

The upper tank is slightly smaller for safety reasons, to avoid any risk of overflow when you fill it completely while the lower tank is not yet empty. Additionally, the volume occupied by the filters must be taken into account, as they reduce the available capacity by approximately one liter.

In practice, you will fill slightly less than this theoretical capacity, as about 2 cm of water always remains at the bottom of the tank (see explanations here).

The manufacturer has carefully calculated the filling capacity of the upper tank to ensure a sufficient water reserve in the lower tank, corresponding to the stated volume, while minimizing the risk of overflow.

Tip: To completely empty the lower tank into a container, slightly tilt the system forward while holding it by the lid button.
